Rectifiers on the other hand, are responsible for changing AC Voltage (which is standardly distributed among city) into DC Voltage. They take alternative electrical current as input and aligned with their technical abilities, convert it into a desired voltage rate as output.
Rectifiers are produced in different current and voltage types according to the product type it is going to be used with. They are used in various fields, such as computer power supplies and generators, but they are mainly used in switch stations, pipelines, cathodic protection systems and substations.
